Even if we use Cambridge and Pearson books in our school, I can t say we teach BrE, in my university education I had Turkish, British and American instructors so I acquired a more global approach towards teaching English. When I teach about pronunciation of " can t" or about spelling like "favorite" or "favourite" I accept and teach both of them because in real life you get equal chance to hear or see both of them. In the school I m teaching now, we have Turkish teachers as well as Australian, Mexican, Maleysian and from New Zealand so I think most teachers in Turkey approach English in a global way. Thanks for your thoughts, fellows Smile
