World Stories is a free site where you can find English stories for your students to read and listen to. The stories include original and translated stories, and can be listened to online or downloaded. Many stories are available in English as well as another language, such as Portuguese, French, or Chinese. A free registration offers teachers access to the additional teaching resources. In the Teachers� Area you can search for stories that are useful for teaching English as an additional language (EAL). These stories are categorized by level, length, lexis, and language features, and come with teaching tips and ideas.  Students are invited to become World Stories artists by submitting artwork for tales that require illustrating.
