I can think only of grammar chants
I was, You were, Was she? Was he? That īs the simple past tense of the verb to be.
We were, They were. Were they? Were we? That īs the simple past tense of the verb to be.
I was there. Where were you? I was there. Where was Sue.
Sue was there. Where was Bill? He was there. Where was Jill?
She was there. Where was Joe? Where was Joe? I don īt know.

You could put some rhythm into them by clapping hands and stomping feet, you know. Sophia
