Hi, Birgit,

I have just taught my elementary students the Simple Past tense. Here is the list of songs I used with them:

1. Yesterday, Beatles (they loved it!);

2. Paradise, ColdPlay (it �s a hit nowadays);

3. Who knew, Pink (they danced and sang a lot!);

4. Grease, John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John (for the older groups).

There �s also "Because you loved me", by Celine Dion, but I thought people have used it too many times in earlier years, so I gave up it.
