I recently had my worksheet removed because it had watermarked or copyrighted images or something?????

 

I took the photos from google images. I thought that was ok to do but obviously not.....can anyone tell me where I can get photos or illiustrations that are not copyrighted (is that even a a word!)

 

I would like a site that has a lot to choose from...your help much appreciated!

This will be your number one source for free images. 

Most web searches will result in finding images owned by individuals or corporations.  Even if it lacks a watermark, it is likely someone�s intellectual property.  My guess is that there are already a ton of photos being used without the knowledge of the owner, but since it is for educational purposes most people won�t care. (I think that Douglas is pointing out that as long as it doesn�t have a watermark, you can upload it to this site.  It isn�t likely a person is going to sue a poor teacher.)

To be safe do a creative commons search or stick with the link I mentioned above.
