Hello everybody,

I �m looking for a general English proficiency test that enables a student to find out if (s)he is ready to take the FCE. Although I have already spent a lot of time searching the net I only came across very short tests which I don �t consider to be a

good evaluation tool.

Is there anybody who can help me out, please?

Hi Heike, I am trying to get into Cambridge site to get you the link but I couldn �t. hope this link help you. or you google cambridge esol tests and get it.

BTW do you have CNN news signal??? cause I only get the message
"De conformidad con la legislacion elecoral vigente esta senal ha sido interrumpida" So does it mean that in all Mexico we can �t see international News???
Do you have an idea what is going on???

Hi Lyny,

thanks for your reply. I tried the Cambridge site, but you can only download full FCE exams, which, of course, is a way to check if SS are ready for the test, but I am looking for a more general test.

Both, CNN in English and Spanish work perfectly fine on my TV (DISH).
