Hi guys.

I �m a little confused with whento use could and whento use would.

For example in reported speech:
"Will you help me carry the box please?"  Dad asked.
Dad asked if/whether I could or would help him carry the box.

"Will you give me a lift to wrok, please?" he asked her.
He asked her if/whether she would or could give him a lift to work.
