Bird: Finally, a place I can get clean! All the bird baths have dried up.
Corn 1: "What happened to you?"
Corn 2: "It �s so hot out there, I could pop! In fact, I just did!"
And taken together, that is the weather report from the American Midwest. Look for much higher prices on corn and soybean products in the next few months. Meat prices will drop for a short time, then skyrocket. Farmers are now selling livestock because they don �t think they can feed the animals, but then there will be a shortage. We Americans will probably be the hardest hit, but even China expects the price of soybean oil to rise sharply in the next year. |
