I teach 12-15-year-olds, too. Last year we had such a project but it didn t work so well as they didn t write back in time even we have started a blog
http://worldwidepenpals.blogspot.com/ about it.
Our academic year will start on 17th September. If you could send your e-mails and postal addresses to [email protected] and we can get in touch as soon as possible. Message here if you leave your contact info to the e-mail address mentioned above as I only use it for student affairs so that I ll check it.

Hello there!
I don t know if any of you teaches private English lessons, but if you do, this message is to you! I m currently teaching a 12-year old girl and a 9-year old girl who find it difficult to get motivated not seeing the real purpose of studying English. Thus, I would like them to have a pen friend whom they can exchange real letters or e-mails with. They are a lower intermediate/intermediate.
Whould anybody be interested in giving our pupils this opportunity of being pen friends? If so, I m waiting for a PM. :)
Thanks in advance K.
