After trawling the web for various ideas for games, activities, etc. I have found it difficult to find ideas for activities that challenge the students and encourage them to improve their English. Many students, after studying English for a while, are less motivated by the multitude of exercises , games and activities.
Does anyone have any activities that will challenge a broad range of students and help motivate those who sometimes seem unreachable?

Board games that include a speaking component are always fun, because they allow students to get to know each other. Also, videos that show current issues (computers, olympics, paralympics) and prepare questions that will enable them to USE the English they have learnt, rather than memorize structures and rules. |
