I came across both possibilities when telling the way. Which one is correct:
Then turn INTO or ONTO X street.

I think ONTO is possible in this case, since we use the preposition on associated with street, addind to for movement.

I think it �s a BE/AmE thing. I think that they would say "into" in England, but we say "onto" in the US. Bruce |
