Well, we re in the same boat!! It has happened the same to me and I have also been accused of having copied the worksheet form any other, the only thing I did was taking images from google images!!
Now, we know that even images can t be used!

Searching through google image does not guarantee the pictures are free of use. It just takes you to a website that has the picture you are looking for.
If you want to be certain, once you re in google image section, there is a little wheel on the top right. Click on the second link, advanced search. At the bottom of that page, you can select what kind of usage rights you want. You ll see that the number of pictures generated by Google will be a lot smaller when you pick free of rights.

@Alees,
You are wrong that "even images can t be used". That is only true of protected images. There are many legal images available for use, as most of our members know. You just have to choose them from the appropriate sites.

Watermarked means that the artist marked the picture as his/her/its own work. It may be very light throughout the picture (and therefore obvious and hard to remove), or it may be a name at the top or the bottom of the picture. If you see something like that, DON T USE THE PICTURE. If that picture and only that picture will do, contact the artist and obtain (buy) the rights to the picture in writing. The artist will sell you the picture without the watermark.
Victor can get into big trouble if he allows us to use watermarked/copyrighted art without permission. It is the one thing I always report when I see it because it has legal consequences. The other rules are for us. |
