Hey, I just wonder which one is correct:
he had breakfast fast or he had breakfast quickly?
I dont want you to change me from school or I dont want you to change me of school - byt the way is it correct to say it, or is there another way?
I want you to change for another school? is it ok??

and how to say when you teach someone with the tie:
teach him to do his tie?

thanx in advance

Strictly speaking - he had his breakfast quickly, as quickly is the adverb, fast is an adjective. Having said that, fast is often used as an adverb.

Neither of the school sentences is right. I don t want you to change my school.

Yes, teach him to do his tie.

He had his breakfast quickly? I mean - it seems grammatically correct, but would you say it?
Fast, I think, is an adverb as well as an adjective. I d probably radther say that he ATE quickly (or fast) than had breakfast. But then, I m not a native speaker.

Minka, you are right. It sounds odd. You would say, He quickly ate his breakfast, then he....

He was very hungry, so he ate his breakfast quickly.
He was already late for school, so he at his breakfast quickly.

Both of these sound OK, with "quickly" at the end.

Agree with Bruce re breakfast.

About the school thing, you could also say
(Student talking to parents)
- I don t want to change schools.
- Please don t make me change schools.
This means the student wants to keep studying at his current school.

(Parents)
- I want you to change schools.
- Let s find you a new school.
