Which is correct?

Today it is colder than yesterday. Today is colder than yesterday. I guess it s the 1st one. What do you think? THANKS in advance. Alex |

both are possible i think but with a small difference. Today, it is colder than yesterday or today is colder than yesterday. |

I agree that both are possible.
If I was being really fussy, I would probably start the sentence with "it" in it with "it." Thus: It is colder today than yesterday.
But in spoken English I think we would use any of the three variations.
Hope this helps. Julia

Yes, all three are good, and with or without the comma that touria added. I agree with Julia that we would more likely begin the sentence with "It", if we were using that sentence. Bruce |
