I do have the same problem as many other members.
I had around 830 points and now they are 740.
How is this possible?

Hello,
During the last few months there have been errors in the website and some users had more points than they should have.
Now the web server has been correcting those errors.
You can check that the points that you have now match exactly the number of downloads of your contributions.
I�m very sorry for these errors and any inconvenience that they could have caused to you.
