Is it natural (correct) to say "The room has got two chairs and a table" or "There are two chairs and a table in the room" is the only possibility?

Sorry, Allisa for coming in with my question here, but it is on the same note.

My students would often say something like "My house has 2 bedrooms."

I always correct them by saying that it s better to say "I have 2 bedrooms in my house."

Following what Glyn suggested, are both sentences correct then?

Seems both are possible, Izulia. At least I think so after reading Glyn s post.  Smile
