I was curious how those teaching in schools (not privately) handle the testing of kids with learning disabilities. And do you get paid extra for it? |

Most schools here in Denmark has help classes where 2-3 students, a couple times a week, have extra reading or math help.
These are great classes to have because they are soooooooooooooooo quiet!!

Here in Romania we have such kids with learning disabilities. As eng789 said, there are 3 or 4 kids with LD in a class of 25 students. We attended special courses in order to be able to teach differently, according to their needs, but ...no extra money. We have specialized teachers who come and evaluate their evolution. They are paid for this kind of work. But they dont teach, they just supervise their development and draw conclusions.

We have to deal with them on our own and dont get anything extra. |
