Hi Nor, I would say, the check and bill are the same thing = amount owed, more likely from a restaurant. A receipt is an acknowledgement of payment. An invoice is issued for an amount owed, usually for a purchase of goods or for a service rendered.

However, a check can also be a form of payment, in the US checks(bank drafts) are used VERY frequently to pay one �s bills (commonly called invoices in GB). |
