would you be so kind as to tell me your opinion about language labs? What are the advantages, disadvantages, your experience? Thank you a lot. R.

I яПНve often used language laboratories for several reasons:

1) They give students that valuable time to work on their own at their own speed.

2) Much clearer for listening comprehension - better than in the classroom.

3) Excellent for oral drills if they are recording their voices.

Of course, all of this is becoming obsolete with all the new technology and if you are lucky to have a computer room at your disposal, what could be better!!
