Which verb is correct referring to chocolate and to hazelnut? to mince, to chop, to crumble... Help me please! Silvia

Silvia, it really depends... If it �s a bar of hazelnut chocolate (my favourite) and it �s in squares, you break a piece off, or break it up. But you might mean something different..?

For cooking:
grate (using a grater) or melt (stove or microwave) chocolate
chop hazelnuts (or any nuts), usually in a food processor

I would use the word to break, if I was writing a recipe. Or just chop in a food processor.
