Again stolen worksheets....

I guess that some people who keep stealing material from everywhere have made us suspicious even towards ourselves. I made some comments on one worksheet which was not finally stolen, as very correctly Mena clarified. I just want to apologise for my comments , but also make a plea for "honest" worksheets.

WHAT DOES THE ADMINISTRATOR DO WITH THESE PEOPLE WHEN THEY HAVE BEEN HERE FOR A LONG TIME AND HAVE A LOT OF POINTS? DOES HE KICK THEM OUT DEFINITELY? OR...THEY ARE ONLY PUNISHED WITHOUT THE BONUS POINTS FOR THE STOLEN WORKSHEET? BEST REGARDS FROM THE CANARY ISLANDS

I have no idea! Ive been reading such posts since I became a member but I dont know what happens next. Its a shame to try to "steal" points. But I think that we all are grown-ups and teachers, we should have already formed an opinion and attitude towards stealing, cheating, sharing, respecting... Be well |

Good evening marileia. Please delete your post, Noelica thee original is Noelicas. She downloaded it herself as a picture dictionary on January 15th (the other one by the other contributor was downloaded one day later , January 16th, but with a different layout, a matching exercise, only the same pictures) and today she downloaded it as a matching exercise. Thats it.
Im sure you would like to delete your post as fast as you can.
Hugs, mena

Good evening to you all!
Its extremely late and I believe my dear friend Marileia went to sleep without reading my post or my private message. Im going to do the same in a while, but before that I think I should clarify this terrible misunderstanding, because thats what I believe she would have done if only she had known.
In this particular case, no one stole anything. It just happened that a contributor uploaded a worksheet on illnesses, on January 15th, as a Picture Dictionary -http://www.eslprintables.com/printable.asp?id=162891#thetop - and today uploaded it again as a matching exercise - http://www.eslprintables.com/printable.asp?id=166421#thetop
Meanwhile, another contributor uploaded 2 worksheets, on January 16th, one of them being indeed very similar to the ones in the links above and, hence, Marileias mistake - http://www.eslprintables.com/printable.asp?id=163406#thetop
Although the worksheets are very similar due to the set of images, the other contributor has a different layout and a different exercise (matching instead of Pictionary) as you can see for yourselves.
I hope I made it clear for you and I hope no one gets hurt.
This is the second misunderstanding today. Lets learn from them.
Have all a good night.

I just wish people would show more respect for other teachers work!
As it has been said before, we dont do it for money! We upload and download worksheets to enrich our teaching experience and to benefit our students.
The least we expect is some credit for our work. Its really annoying when people find some good ws on this website and post them again as their own to get points. This isnt honest! It happened to me yesterday.
The spirit of SHARING in this site is wonderful!!! I cant begin to tell you how my teaching has changed thanks to this website!!!
Please dont spoil it!!! |
