There �s no difference, at least in American English. I probably use "take" more, but they �re really interchangeable, and "have" doesn �t sound strange. |

I don �t think there �s much difference. All I can think of is that in the imperative, you would use �take �. As in, �Take your break now. � And if you were describing it, you �d say, �I �m having a great break. Eating kitkats and such like.� |

Could it be something like the Americans tend to say "take a bath/shower � and the English say "have a bath/shower �????Just wondering.... |
