Need some help

Hi everyone,
I need some help with grammar.
Please check my answers.

Use Past Simple or Present perfect.

Tourist from all over the world _have been_ (be) to Loch Ness but most of them _havent seen_(not/see)  Nessie.  Only a few people say that the Loch Ness Monster _ appeared_ (appear) in front of them.  Even scientists
have come_ ( come)  to find the monster.  The owner of the Guinness brewery _has promised_ (promise) to pay 500,000 pounds to the person who catches Nessie.

                                               Thanking you in advance.
                                                   Have a great week.
                                                                   Barbara

I would use present perfect for all of them.

Only a few people say that the Loch Ness Mondster has appeared in front of them. (not a specific time in the past).
