Dear Perlittah,
You re the WINNER, with your definition of the word "WIDDERSHINS".
ALL of the entries for the Competition were superb, but your entry was S-O S-C-A-R-Y ... "She grabbed, twisted and squeezed him like a lemon with her wooden legs till finishing him".
I was SO FRIGHTENED that I didnt dare go to bed until it was REALLY late. When, eventually, I DID creep upstairs, at 9.15 p.m., I was so terrified that I forgot to go to the toilet --- but I DID remember the other 5 times!
My little cat kept me company under the clothes all night. We didnt get up until it was safe, in the broad daylight, at 3.15 p.m., when the children came home from school.
Congratulations, Perlittah. Now, you must choose the new Word of the Day. (I hope that IT isnt scary!)
Oh! I almost forgot!
What does "WIDDERSHINS" mean? "ANTI-CLOCKWISE".
