Consolidating Question Words
|
Hi All
I really need help with how to help consolidate question words with a mature elementary learner in a one-to-one class. For the life of her she just can t seem to remember them from one day to the next, bless.
What fun techniques can you recommend?

Some tips here http://busyteacher.org/4121-how-to-teach-question-structures.html (especially point 4) Also how about making flashcards with the question words and pictures of things they refer to. Say, "Where" goes with pictures of different places. "Who" goes with people. And so on. You could then practise making questions using those cards. or http://www.eslprintables.com/powerpoint.asp?id=64549#this Sophia

Why dont you try with thinking about several famous people, and making her trying to guess them by asking you questions. e.g. Where does he live? Whats his job? How many children has he got? .................
