Could you please help me in correction of the following sentence: Though one of my colleagues here sent explanation but it was not explanatory. "Write about Ahmad�s future plans AFTER she graduates from university and answer the questions." Should it be AFTER or WHEN . What do you say?

I remember this one, and the person who answered it did a good job. I �ll say the same thing, but expand it a little. "When" implies "at the time of", while "after" implies "for a period of time starting at that point". Since her plans are not for the immediate time of her graduation, but for the future beginning at that time, we need "after" here. Bruce |
