How can I copy a You Tube Video to my computer with VLC

I would like to show a you tube video in class but we do not have internet in kindergarten. Is is possible to copy a you tube video with VLC to my computer?

Tanja,
Yes you can do it. Just download real player to your PC, restart your PC and then you will see in the top right of the video a note (download a video).

Hi!
If you use Firefox instal the extension FlashGot and when streaming a video just click on the button that will appear on de left of the address bar and choose where you want to save it in your computer. It works with most of the videos and movies on the internet.

(I had some problems using keepvid, but many colleagues are using it successfully...)
