I have a few basic ideas:

nouns

prepositions
synonyms

If you register at Cambridge English Teacher you get a free online short course on grammar basics.  Itīs quite good and will give you good background for parts of speech (word classes) plus tenses and passive.

If you buy an annual membership you then get another course for free and there is a good one on teaching grammar. There are lots of other really good courses that don īt cost much.
