I think there is a rule against advertising your own website or worksheets and this is the second post today.
Best wishes

Hi anaram,
- although Xani and evelinamaria really do a great job, lovely worksheets... and shares here too....you are absolutely right: they really do a lot of advertising on our website.... ( not to mention FB) we are not supposed to do any advertising at all here... it is in the rules.
- I do think we are allowed to mention our websites/refer to them, but certainly not to advertise for our worksheets, neither here or at a paying site: some members invite you to download, free, what they cannot upload here (size aso) elsewhere, which is generally accepted.
Kind regards to every one |

Fools rush in where angels fear to tread.
It does state quite clearly in the rules that you should not use the forum for the sole purpose of advertising your website. This is what is causing the confusion. Maybe this rule should be deleted, since it s neither observed, nor enforced.
Have a wonderful Sunday, everyone. ESLp forever.

Id like to apologize for my post; I had no idea of
this discussion and didnt know Victors opinion, which, no doubt, is
paramount. So I have no intention of opening a new can of worms.
Ive had a look at the old one though and, just in case, Id like to clarify my position; I
did have a look at the rules before writing my post and found this: Those
messages which are considered spam by the administrator will be removed (such as
using the forum with the sole purpose of advertising your website). So, unaware of Victors decision, I thought it could
be a good idea to remind people of this rule. It wasnt a good idea, I know now,
and I must admit that I do have a problem with the flexibility of rules.
Nothing to do with peoples right to make a living out of their work or the
greatness of sharing work, links and opinions on this site.
Best wishes and thanks everybody for their contributions.

Thank you angel Lynne! For example, Papadeli often refers to her own website whenever she wants to answer one of the questions on the forum and it is usually relevant and of great help. She never advertises just for the sake of advertizing and moreover, isn t her site free?
