winner word of the day

Even though he already won the caption contest, I had no choice but to choose him as the winner of the word of the day as well: ED!!
Being a true teacher, he put his embarrassment aside in order to warn all men about to undergo medical testing (probing?).

The true meaning of opprobrium - as Ed s "optomotrist" probably knows- is:
a : public disgrace or ill fame that follows from conduct considered grossly wrong or vicious. b : contempt, reproach
