Emphatic use of an auxiliary: This is used to contradict what someone has said or emphasize a point.
A= You didn �t lock the door. B= I did lock the door.
this case happens with all the tenses, like will, or other. does it just happen with did and do or does??
are there any ppt or worksheets on this page.. I �ve been searching for one and I had no luck!!! |

Michelle Henry lists some resources here , including some fun cartoons and an excellent BBC online audio.
Then there�s this blog which has a really good explanantion and online activity that you could simply print out and use it as a worksheet with your students. It also answers your questions above.
