I �ve got a question concerning prepositions. What preposition would you use in negative sentences using Present Perfect e.g.
I haven �t studied English ......... 2 days.
My guess is "for" or "in" but I am not sure since "for" is commonly used in positive sentences with Present Perfect (I have lived here FOR 5 years).

Yes, both are correct. �In � implies that you are annoyed with yourself: you really should have been studying English. �For � is just the statement. Who is Michael? Have I missed something??? |
