prepositions

I ve got a question concerning prepositions. What preposition would you use in negative sentences using Present Perfect e.g.

I haven t studied English ......... 2 days.

My guess is "for"  or "in" but I am not sure since "for" is commonly used in positive sentences with Present Perfect (I have lived here FOR 5 years).

Jarek,
You re right that "in" sounds a little more natural in a negative sentence, although "for" is also correct.

Yes, both are correct. In implies that you are annoyed with yourself: you really should have been studying English. For is just the statement.
Who is Michael? Have I missed something???
