How would you write out 12:05? Not five after twelve, or five past twelve, but 12-o-5. I thought it would be twelve oh five but then saw a website using twelve 0-five which didn t seem right. |

Oh is usually used as an exclamation of surprise Oh! There you are. or Oh dear.
The O in time stands for zero so it s treated a little differently.
Say the hour first and then the minutes. (Hour + Minutes)
- 6:25 - six twenty-five
- 8:05 - eight O-five
- 9:11 - nine eleven
- 2:34 - two thirty-four
