Help please: More than one information

Dear friends,
one of my students wrote: "Here are a couple of information about..."
are (pl) + a couple of (pl) - information (sg) = that s odd, but is it wrong? (In German, "information" is the same word, but we have a plural form as well)
Is it possible to say: "here is a couple of information about..." or do we have to use "some information"?
I wish you a wonderful Friday! |

Information is an uncountable noun, so no, you cannot sat "a couple of information."

The best option to say that: Some information or maybe, a piece of information. |

If you must have a countable noun, try facts. It s always difficult if the English word is uncountable and the native language word is countable. I run into that all the time with Spanish "consejo" and English "advice." |
