i have pre-intermediate students.One day my students brought me a question. it is below
MRS.ROSE:I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH A CLEVER STUDENT BEFORE LIKE THOMAS SCHOOL MANAGER:................................
a)me ,too b)me ,neither c)such d)so
I CHOOSE � �B � � AS THE CORRECT ANSWER COZ OF NEGATIVE WORD � �NEVER � �(AND I AM SURE ABOUT MY ANSWER) BUT THE OTHER TEACHER SAID AS � �A � � IS THE CORRECT ANSWER.
WHAT DO U THINK ? THANKS

I �m like Bruce, I often say "me either" in a case like this. I suspect "neither" is a better answer, but to me they are the same in this case. |

More natural English would be:
I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH A CLEVER STUDENT AS THOMAS BEFORE
SCHOOL MANAGER:.......NEITHER HAVE I..../NOR HAVE I
The word order for Mrs Rose sounds odd to me, and although �me neither � is often heard, it is colloquial in my view.
