Apart from present perfect, what other tenses would you accept for this sentence?
I _________ (work) for this company for a long time.
( There is no context or time reference)
Thanks

Simple preterit : I worked for this company for a long time. That way you mentioned a fact of the past and we understand that you have stopped working for this company (whatever the reason is). That is to say that the period is a PAST period. |

Or Present Perfect Continuous: I have been working for this company for a long time.
And what do you think about the future reference? I will work for this company for a long time. |
