Three plus six equals nine
Five minus one equals four
Two times eight equals sixteen
Fourteen divided by two equals seven

Looks good to me, alex076. I will mention that the last problem would usually be written on a computer as 14/2 = 7, at least in the USA.

Actually, carlaq., "sum" specifically refers to the answer to an addition problem. The others are "difference �, "product" and "quotient".

We can also say:

two eights are sixteen (2 x 8 = 16)
two into 14 is seven (14 / 2 = 7)
