Text to Speech - The Mac OS has a text to speech
function. When activated, the student
can press designated keys on the keyboard and any text that has been selected
will be read. Here is a shortvideo tutorial
(Krauss). Here are some instructions for text to speech in Windows . Since any text can be read to the student,
this opens a wide variety for use in and out of the classroom.
