Hi, language teachers
I �ve been translating a text and I �m not sure if it is correct to say the word " rereading" when you mean a new interpretation of something. And is the spelling "re-reading" or "rereading"? Or shouild I say " a new interpretation of Gustav Klimt �s works"? Can I say " a new look at Gustav Klimt �s work"? Can you give suggestions, please?

From my perspective I �d use a hyphen, as it looks odd to me without it. I �d also only use re-reading if I was talking about reading something again. New interpretation or a new look both work fine for me, as I believe you are talking about a �fresh perspective � on an old subject. Anyone else have an opinion?

Yes you could say:
"a new interpretation of Gustav Klimt �s works"
or
" a new look at Gustav Klimt �s work"
I think the first option best meets your needs.
Though I have seen it used that way (and it is not wrong), I personally wouldn �t use "reread" to refer to a new interpretation.
