Hello, I need I ideas how to teach letters of advice: form, language, special expressions etc. Can you help me???? Thanks Anat

1. Read a letter to the students with a "problem" in it. e.g. Not enough money to go to university
2. Get the students to brainstorm possible solutions e.g. get a part-time job
3. Introduce phrases such as "Why don�t you...? How about...? You should..." etc.
4. Clarify the strength of the suggestion structures with them.
5. Get them in groups/pairs/individually to write a response.
6. Read them to the class, correct mistakes, discuss which feel the best if you were to receive the letter of advice.
Sorry for the short response, my kids class will arrive any minute now!!
Hope this gives you a basic outline of what you could do...
