Hi,
I want to take this opportunity to correct a wide-spread English error. Margo s sentiment is wonderful, but her use of "belated", although very common these days, is wrong. It isn t the birthday that is belated (which just means "late") - It is the greeting. It would be correct to say "A belated Happy Birthday". I blame the greeting card industry for spreading this error, which will eventually become standard English, because languages evolve to take in widespread usage. However, for now, "Happy belated Birthday" is still incorrect.
