How do we translate the sentence into english?

Dear friends, I have a doubt: "IT IS PEOPLE THAT HAVE IDEAS" - Is this sentence correct? May we start the sentence with "IT IS"? "Es sind die Menschen die Ideen haben" - German "S�o as pessoas que t�m ideias" - Portuguese I hope that somoene can help me. Thank you!

For me it �s perfectly correct!

The German version would translate to: "It is the people that have ideas." which has a slightly different meaning.
