Birthday Wishes for a Danish Boss
|
Dear Colleagues,
My boss s birthday is coming and I really want to send him a really unique wish, but nothing appears in my mind. Anyone can help me? He is a Danish boss. Thanks in advance.

Funny- you do know that marmite is banned in Denmark.
Ok apparently not really banned but something to do with it having too many vitamins or something so you need a special permit to sell it.

Bruce, we have been here before with marmite and you are a naughty boy for maligning it. You love it or you hate it, but you mustn t try to influence people! I first tried it when I was 18 as we never had it at home. (I am sorry now that my mam and dad never had this pleasure). I was in hall at university, sitting at the breakfast table with five other students and this posh girl brought out her jar of marmite, to cries of Eugh!! Yuck! Put it away! Well, I tried the sticky black stuff and I thought Wow, what a taste! Since then, I ve wanted to share it like a true evangelical.
Banned in Denmark???? I m on my way with a truck load. Any Danes reading this - watch out for me, you are in for a treat, albeit an illicit one!

I have 5 x 500g jars of NZ marmite in my fridge - (I live in Sweden so stocked up on the last trip to London where I could visit the NZ shop) as well as 2 large jars of English marmite.
Oh the glory.
Should get me through to my next UK trip hopefully.
