words like "donor-teacher-activist" are called............... nouns whereas words like donation /activism/ teaching are called general nouns

Donor Activist Teacher These are common nouns. You can read more on noun types here Often, (as douds said) with these nouns, there are two types (But I am unaware of the actual term given to these) the person e.g. donor, educator, collaborator the noun form of their action e.g. donation, education, collaboration Cheers Jayho
