ANOTHER QUESTION

Can I say "He is concerned for the environment". I am marking exams and some students write things I haven t taught them but they might be right.
Thanks in advance
Yolanda

Hi

Concerned about is more usual. I don t think I have ever seen for

It is more common to say " concerned about..." But I think both are correct.

Both are correct. The difference is context. Concerned for is a general worry about someone s wellbeing and concerned about means you are worried specifically about someone s decline in health.
