After eating and drinking a lot ... I �m ready to wish you:  Happy New Year!

I �d also like to share my drawing with you. I hope there are a lot of teachers here that use memory tricks. So, since I ate so much, let �s teach our student this difficult verb through this drawing. You can use it to teach
-meaning
-spelling
-pronunciation

Here �s the verb ate. 
A is for Anne. 
E is for Ed. He is sleeping. He �s not talking. 
That �s why he is not pronounced. 
Look at T. She �s surprised with open arms: "Oh, you ate all the popcorn! 
8 of them!"
