come and play, come and play! HERE IS THE NEW WORD OF THE DAY!

Up early on my free day to write evaluations.........and of course..procrastinating
Here is the new word of the day:
pandiculation
Let s see what interesting, funny, smart or silly definitions you can come up with.
The idea is of course to make up a definition, NOT to give the real definition. |

Now, that s easy!!
Of course the word pandiculation refers to the number of giant pandas. We all know that these animals are threatened of extinction and there are only few of them left so no wonder a coined word is now in use to express their numbers.
pandic= an adjective formed from the word panda (pop)ulation= shortened due to the coinage |

Pandiculation isn t quite that obvious; sorry, htunde. Pandiculation is "actually" the condition of spouting off at the mouth.
Pan: all
dicu-say, tell
-(l)ation: action or process
So, if you share your secrets to someone afflicted with pandiculation, expect to see them shared on Facebook, Twitter, and other social media. |

Oh no ! Are you striken by that illness ?
Pan : you cook in and you must be in the kitchen to use it.
di : you cook some DIsh in a pan
cul : again you are making something CULinary
ation : addiction
So it is the name of the illness that jails you in the kitchen obliging you to cook in a pan (always the same) a dish (always the same) because you are addicted to that dish you cook yourself. And of course you can t eat anything else...
Sorry but I prefer varied menus ! |

Pandiculation is playing tennis using pans instead of rackets.

That s a nice one!
Pandiculation is something that involves a frying pan and NO WORDS (no articulation).
It is practiced by wives and girlfriends whose spouses or significant others come home late and/or drunk on a regular basis. At some stage, wives and girlfriends give up whining, complaining and making scenes and resort to waiting behind the door with a frying pan in their hands - and the bang the husband gets on his head when he comes through the door is not ARTICULATION any more, because it s useless, but ...
PANDICULATION !!!
(No, this is not me, my husband never comes home drunk!! It s all hearsay!! )

Show some reverence, please! Pandiculation is chanting to the god of all things, Pan. Pandian (??) monks go around waving incense and pandiculating, especially on Tuesdays.
