I have a question:...How should we say: ...
"Moreover, quantitative and qualitative techniques were applied to know about the health situation." or "to know about the health situation, quantitative and ....were applied"

Hi! Both seem OK to me. Depending on what you start with, you put emphasis on the first part of your sentence. As for �health situation �, it �s been used in the press about the Phillipines so I also think it �s correct! Hope some native speaker can shed light on this!

To gain knowledge about or to learn about would be better/ or to more fully understand the health situation
We know about the health situation because both qualitative and qualitative research techniques were applied.
