Hello everyone ,
I would be grateful if anyone answered me this question .
Can we use the " so that " as a linking word at the beginning of a sentence or
should it always be in the middle of the sentence ?

It is more usual to see it in the middle, but it is perfectly acceptable at the beginning, in my opinion.
So that he could afford the new car, he had to save a lot of money.
We might more commonly say: In order to afford the new car, he had to save a lot of money. |
