I don t know dackala. But I have just checked the reported wss and I notice you have reported one. I also notice that more that 30 have been reported and that if every one of those posted to ask why on the forum, rather than waiting for the automatic message they get...well, I ll leave you to think about that.
I also think that it is very unacceptable to ask who reported your ws on a public forum. None of this is personal.

you know what Dakala... you have reported someone s else work as well.... Curious, wouldn t you say?.
SHALL I ASK YOU WHY? Are you going to shoot someone here?
For God sake act like an adult, will you?

I did it because someone did it to me. Than the first not suitable printable was the one I reported. And the answer is because you gave Spanish explanations and it s forbidden.

And what s more I ve seen lot s of irregular printables, but I haven t reported simply because I don t like it. It can hurt someone. I m not sad or anything just curious. So, sorry for reporting, if you could see the time reported, you could see that it was after my printable was reported..

Hello,
first of all if your printable is not following the rules, the moderators will vote for it to me removed and when it is removed you ll receive a message explaining what rule it didn t follow...
then, no one should report ws out of revenge! but if you see a printable that doesn t follow the rules, you HAVE TO report it, whether you like or it. But make sure it doesn t follow the rules (check the rules again before reporting it). If people don t report ws breaking the rules this website might close in the future for not respecting copyright laws etc... and we don t want that! by reporting ws, we make this website better. That s why no one should be offended if they get their ws reported (and take it personnally), they always have the chance to update their ws and upload it again after making sure it follows the rule this time.
Finally, if all the members who had a ws reported came here to complain, the forum would soon be crowded and it would soon become useless for those who need help, have questions, want to share ideas etc...

Ok, I just wanted to know why sb reported. Since it s the first time I m in this position and in a private messenger moderators didn t explain why it s been removed I asked on this forum. I agree that shouldn t be public, better for me, others and especially this site.
Best wishes to all of you,
Darija

moderators only explain why a ws was removed or reported if they want to (feel like it). otherwise you only get a generic message - not sent by the moderators. To contact a moderator you need to find a member with more than 5000 points and send him/her a private message...but you might not get a reply about reported ws, because they don t stay long on the moderators page...
sometimes when i report a ws, i ll send a PM to the author (especially if it s a new member, or if I really like the ws and/or if it breaks a "small" rule - if there are a couple of words in another language than English, if there are a couple of copyrighted cliparts...). But on some days , when I m in "hunting" mode and i m really looking for ws which are breaking the rules, especially plagiarized ones, I report a lot of ws and those days I don t send PM...

No wonder the world is a mess! Rest my case!
I won t even bother to reply again to these type of messages.
@dackala "And the answer is because you gave Spanish explanations and it s forbidden" - quoting again.
BY THE WAY The ws is not mine nor do I speak spanish.

Hi dackala
Your make/do contribution is no longer on the reporting page but it seems that another one is. I have checked it and it does not seem to be your original work based on the link provided in the reporting page.
The rules state: Your contributions must be your own creations and Please dont take texts from other ESL websites or books, it would be unfair.
So, even if you do change something found elsewhere, it really is not allowed.
If a contribution is removed the member will receive an automated message from the webmaster with a reason for removal. In the majority of cases, removed contributions do in fact break the rules.
It doesnt matter who reported it and the only people who know who reported it are the moderators as they can see the name of that person. However, reported contributions are actioned by the system very quickly (approx. 12 hours) and by the time a member is aware, the contribution has disappeared from the reporting page. Therefore, moderators are generally unable to provide any information. In such cases you are best to contact the webmaster.
Its important to remember that what you create is primarily for your use in your classroom, and, if you can upload it here then do so. We all have contributions that we cant upload here for whatever reason. If you need points in order to download then its best to create a fully original work that will bring you those points.
Cheers

I confirm, the ws on the moderators page is breaking the rules: several sentences are taken from ESL exercises that can be found online, the task is basically the same, and that s not allowed!
